Privacy Policy

Architecture overview

Disorganized is built on Firebase and Google Cloud Platform. Your notes are uploaded to Firestore, where they are encrypted. As of an update coming in september 2025, you never have to register with an email or other personally identifiable information. You can always delete your data via the settings menu in the app.

Notes are uploaded to Firestore to enable backups and real-time sync between devices. For example, you can simultaneously edit the same note on the web app and in your phone.

When you use AI to generate sections, the note you have opened is shared with a third party provider. There is an in-app warning about this and it requires your permission every time you do it.

Anonymized usage data is collected for crash reports and user behavior reports.

We have nothing to gain from using your data in illicit or unexpected ways. Disorganized makes money through subscriptions by our users, not through advertising or data-sharing.
